從巴黎到成都,再到 Oakland。Drop 003 來自 Flower Child:兩支秘魯高海拔水洗、一支哥倫比亞粉紅波旁。

關於這次 Drop / About this Drop

Drop 003 是三支水洗。

兩支來自秘魯 Cusco 海拔 2,200m 的高地,同產區、同海拔、不同品種:Roberto Flores 的藝妓水洗,與 Lisbeth Mariño 的 SL9 水洗(又稱印加藝妓)。一支以細緻的花香見長,另一支以鳶尾與鳳梨莓的鋒芒收筆 — 兩者並陳,是這次 Drop 的核心對話。

第三支從哥倫比亞烏伊拉省作為對照:Erick Bravo 的粉紅波旁,延長發酵後帶出奇異果與荔枝的甜亮,與秘魯高山水洗的清晰形成另一種質地。

三支都建議養豆三週以上後再開封。

Drop 003 is three washed lots.

Two come from Peru's Cusco highlands at 2,200 meters — same region, same altitude, different varietals: Roberto Flores's Gesha and Lisbeth Mariño's SL9 (sometimes called Inca Geisha). One leads with delicate floral Gesha character; the other carries an iris-and-pineberry edge. Their conversation is the core of this drop.

The third is a Colombian counterpoint from Huila: Erick Bravo's Pink Bourbon, extended-fermentation washed, kiwi and lychee sweetness up front — a different texture against the Peruvians' high-altitude clarity.

All three rest three weeks or more before opening.

關於 Flower Child / About the Roaster

Flower Child 是位於 Oakland 的小型烘焙工坊,由 Preston Reed 創立。烘焙取向強調乾淨、現代、清澈 — 讓生豆本身的個性與處理法的特性主導風味,而非以烘焙痕跡定義咖啡。對 Lightmist 而言,Drop 003 延伸了策展軸線:在巴黎的 Datura(Drop 001)與成都的 Goût(Drop 002)之外,將灣區的小型烘焙師帶入台灣的選擇。

Flower Child is a small roastery in Oakland, founded by Preston Reed. The roast register is clean, modern, transparent — letting the green and the process speak rather than letting the roast announce itself. For Lightmist, Drop 003 extends the curation arc: beyond Paris (Datura, Drop 001) and Chengdu (Goût, Drop 002), bringing a Bay Area roaster into the Taiwan rotation.
